Beyond Design
Little Stories from My Everyday Life
Back to silence
Nature has always been my reset , camping under starlit skies, hiking misty trails, swimming in cold lakes, or paddle boarding across calm waters where thought meets stillness.
Movement fuels my creativity; I love cycling along Vancouver's seawall, skiing through fresh snow, or simply wandering without a plan.
Traveling feeds the same spirit ; every place, face, and story reveals how people shape their own worlds, reminding me that good design must feel human everywhere.
Everyday Experiments
At home, creativity finds new forms. I bake sourdough bread, collect stickers, and treat my nails as tiny design experiments.
Even my workouts and intermittent fasting routines have become rituals of rhythm and balance. My cats remind me to rest, to play, and to notice the small joys , lessons that often find their way into my work. These small acts of curiosity keep me grounded and remind me that design is less about screens and more about observing life itself.
Stories that Stay
I also find storytelling in other spaces , from acting and performing to movie nights with friends. Stepping into new characters teaches me empathy in motion; watching stories unfold on screen reminds me why I design in the first place: to make life a little easier, a little warmer, and more meaningful to live in.
Whether on stage, on the water, or on the road, I keep learning that every experience ( like every design) begins with curiosity and grows through care.
Personal Growth
I'm passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement. Whether it's learning new design tools, exploring emerging technologies, or developing soft skills, I believe in staying curious and adaptable.
